Two hired robber on their way to abduct couple and get the code from the safe with the diamonds

Soundtrack
I have created soundscapes inspired by club music, classical drama and horror films. Following the director’s vision to tell the story through 3 different genres the main challenge for me as a film composer was to connect them stylistically.
Romance
The emotional component comes from recording strings and intimately arranged solo performances on cello and violin. To transition from the more engaging and warm scenes into menacing and foreboding sequences the live recordings were treated with analog and digital effects.
Suspense
For chilling sequences, I utilised atonal clusters in organic instruments combined with tonal percussive instruments such as a water harp. Detuned pianos played an integral role in depicting the non-stable Kotryna character.
Brutality
The Techno genre defined the ferocity of the thugs. Cocaine, money and greed directed story line towards unexpected plot twists. I incorporated analogue synthesisers and gave them unexpected colours with digital effects
Telling a story through music
You Are My Diamond was a great project to work on. Good communication with the director, creative freedom and experience helped to write a soundtrack in less than a month. Immersive, emotional and capturing experience awaits you in the cinema scree
